Job Description:

Braman Honda Palm Beach is seeking a Human Resources Administrative Assistant to join our team! In this position, you will help organize, coordinate, and carry out all human resource department projects and processes for the company. You will work directly with the General Manager to fulfill a variety of necessary HR tasks. This includes on boarding, hiring, training and company education procedures for new or existing employees. You must track and maintain all employee data (contact information, earning rates, absences, etc.), so strong computer and clerical skills are a must. You will also help maintain positive employee relations and work to ensure worker satisfaction through education of HR policies and by fostering a positive work environment. You should be highly organized, detail-oriented, have the ability to multi-task and be personable and approachable.The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Work directly with the General Manager. Support the General Manager in educating employees on and enforcing company policies. Assist in the full hiring process of employees, including recruitment, interviews, verifying work-history and references, including facilitating pre-employment processing. Help with new-hire procedures, including organizing employee orientation, creating new employee files, entering new employees into the HRIS database and ensuring all necessary paperwork is properly filled out and submitted. Make sure all health and safety regulations are followed. Prepare materials and help organize employee benefits meetings, 401(k) meetings, annual training compliance meetings, recognition events, etc. Present any new or additional training materials to employees. Make sure all employee records are filed correctly and kept confidential. Under the leadership of the General Manager, be a vital source of human resources information, answering any questions employees may have. Support any other special projects the General Manager or other managers needs assistance with. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES) High School Diploma required. Must have strong employee support orientation, demonstrate professional demeanor, and the ability to maintain confidential information Must have strong skills in organization and planning, demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment and problem solving Ability to prioritize tasks, exercise sound judgment and confidentiality with sensitive information Excellent communication, interpersonal, computer and presentation skills are a must. Work schedule is Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm.
