We do this by fostering a culture of leadership and accountability.We have an immediate need for an Assistant Property Manager to join the team at one of United Group's professionally managed active adult communities in Stuart, FL. position will be responsible for the management, operations, and leasing support to the Property Manager for the community. In addition, this position also is responsible for creating a unique resident experience and overall lifestyle of the community to which they are assigned. This position will provide coordination of resident services and activities in alignment with execution of United Group's SUN program, ensuring a full calendar of events is offered. This position will provide direct services to residents for social, craft, recreational, and cultural activities,working effectively with persons from a wide range of cultural, educational, and socioeconomic backgrounds.United Group / United Plus Property Management:Recently named The Institute of Real Estate Management -'s AMO - of the Year recipient

  • Attracts and retains business by exceeding expectations Major Tasks + Key Responsibilities:
    • Assists Property Manager with daily operations activities, including preparing Accounts Payables, month end reporting, budget and variances, and sales / leasing
    • Responsible for Marketing/Leasing activities, including daily/weekly reporting, preparation of flyers/materials, attending tabling/marketing events, preparing lease up move-in packets, assists with regular market surveys, and community outreach
    • Responsible for assisting with rent collection process, move in/move out processes, collaboration with Maintenance Supervisor on work orders, apartment turns, and physical repairs/improvements as needed
    • Ability to assist and handle resident issues, requests, and emergencies
    • Ensures Owners' goals and objectives are aligned with property operationsJob Overview + Requirements:
      • Job Type: Assistant Property Manager; $26 an hour
      • Work Hours: Full Time (weekends required as needed)
      • Training for Position: Supervisory experience with both leasing and maintenance staff
      • Physical Requirements: Light lifting and carrying
      • Required Education: College Degree or Applicable Work History
      • Required Experience: 1-2 years of experience in residential property management, preferred experience in active/independent adult (55+) market
      • Certifications: Professional designations, i.e. Certified Professional Manager (CPM), Accredited Residential Manager (ARM), or equivalent industry designation preferred.
