Recovery By The Sea - Salary - $50,000- $60,000 depending on experience -
Requirements: This position requires a Master's Degree in a human services field (Mental health, social work, marriage and family) and licensure eligibility. MCAP, CAP, or CAC is a plus! -
Schedule: M-F, 12:30-8:30 -
Recovery by the Sea is a seeking a highly skilled counselor to facilitate it's evening IOP (MH and SA) program. This position requires an organized individual to maintain 15 clients and a maximum of 4 hours of group daily. The ideal candidate has at least one year of experience with direct client care and understands how to use EMR systems. -

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions and complete all documentation within the given timeframes.
- Ability to network and collaborate with healthcare and other social and cultural agencies that can provide services to the patients and families.
- Knowledge and competency in problem solving, stress management, ethics and team building.
- Ability to deescalate a crisis and determine when referral to higher level of care is necessary. -
- Work cohesively with a multidisciplinary team -
- Communicate client issues in a time sensitive manner
- Demonstrate strong boundaries, excellent clinical writing skills, and an ability to conduct themselves with utmost professionalism -
