Job Description:

A partner of the Optum network, WellMed Medical Group, is seeking internal medicine or family medicine physicians to join our Treasure Coast clinics located in Fort Pierce, Port St. Lucie, and South Stuart, Florida.
As part of the multi-disciplinary team, the Primary Care Physician (PCP) will provide primary medical diagnostic and therapeutic care and service, referring consultations for specialty care, and education and preventive care advice to all patients served. The PCP performance will be tracked and comparatively reported using metrics related to the strategic direction and operational needs of the organization.Position Highlights:

• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of heath care providers
  
• Our model is designed to provide the most efficient, comprehensive, and proven care techniques to treat the whole patient physically, mentally, and socially at each visit
  
• Quality vs. Quantity Model Typically see 14 to 16 patients per day
  
• Patient panel is predominately geriatrics with Medicare Advantage coverage
  
• Bonus incentives are based on quality metrics

    Compensation/Benefits Highlights:
    
    • Base Salary plus Annual Quality Incentive with a target of $50,000

      Required Qualifications:
      
      • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.)
        
      • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Practice or Internal Medicine
        
      • Current, unrestricted Florida Medical License
        
      • Valid DEA
        
      • This position requires Tuberculosis screening as well as proof of immunity to Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis through lab confirmation of immunity, documented evidence of vaccination, or a doctor's diagnosis of disease
        
      • Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement of this role. UnitedHealth Group will adhere to all federal, state and local regulations as well as all client requirements and will obtain necessary proof of vaccination prior to employment to ensure compliance

        • Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency
