Description Specialization:Surgery GeneralJob Summary: HCA Healthcare is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our hospital-employed general surgery practice.

Qualified Candidates:

• PA board certification
• Join 4 general surgeons
• Responsibilities to include:
  • Work closely with providers to provide continuity of patient care
  • See follow-up and post-op patients independently
  • Patient education regarding pre-op, hospital and postop expectations with phone call follow up post discharge
  • Assist in minor office procedures
  • Follow up on all tests ordered to ensure completion and review results (including postop pathology)
  • Communicate with and facilitate the coordination of care
  • Provide day-to-day clinical job functions related to triage/patient care
    • Must be committed, willing to collaborate, and enthusiastic about taking care of patients
    • Must have excellent communication skills
