Job Description Hospital-Based Pathologist Opportunity – Palm Beach Gardens, FL Alan B. Miller Medical Center – Palm Beach Gardens, FL Alan B. Miller Medical Center, a state-of-the-art facility located in Palm Beach Gardens, is actively seeking a Board-Certified Anatomic and Clinical Pathologist to join our growing team. This is a hospital-based position offering the opportunity to work in a highly collaborative environment with experienced colleagues. Position Highlights: Board Certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology required. Fellowship training in general or subspecialty anatomic pathology required. Minimum 3 years of experience preferred. Active Florida medical license required. Shared on-call schedule; 5 weeks of vacation annually. Grossing will be performed by a certified Pathologist Assistant No autopsy responsibilities Opportunities to participate in Breast and Lung Tumor Boards (held three times/month) Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough examination and evaluation of surgical pathology specimens. Independently perform frozen sections and assess specimen adequacy for cytology. Manage a daily mixed caseload of 30–35 specimens , including: Breast (core biopsies and excisions) Thoracic pathology Non-neoplastic and limited neoplastic GYN. GU, GI, Neuro, limited Head & Neck Limited Hematopathology Cytology: thyroid, lung EBUS, GI EBUS Work closely with laboratory staff and referring physicians to ensure accurate diagnoses and excellent patient care. Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills in a multidisciplinary team environment. Alan B. Miller Medical Center Opening in April 2026 in Palm Beach Gardens, the Alan B.
