Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced civil litigator to join our growing firm. We are not your typical small law firm. Our entrepreneurial law firm is poised for aggressive growth, and we're looking for an attorney who can hit the ground running to give our clients outstanding representation. Ideal candidates have 5-7 years of commercial litigation experience and have experience handling depositions, hearings, expert witnesses, and more.

Responsibilities:

Counsel clients by assessing options and determining the best course of action for a successful outcome
Argue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedings
Complete legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, and briefs
Oversee paralegals, law clerks, and administrative staff
Draft correspondence, legal pleadings, motions, and briefs
Determine case strategies and solutions to serve clients' needs after analysis


Qualifications:

Well-versed in legal research software (Westlaw/Lexis)
Able to work independently while handling multiple files
Decision-making, public speaking, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, and communication skills are a must
--- Member in good standing with The Florida Bar
--- Exemplary legal research and writing skills
--- Spanish language proficiency is a plus, but not required
