Controller is responsible for
financial and accounting activity for Medical Clinics. Duties
include maintaining financial records, allocating intercompany
expenses, reconciling bank accounts with practice management system
reported revenue, preparing monthly P&Ls/Balance Sheets,
creating, and updating monthly physician compensation vouchers,
paying all required taxes to the appropriate taxing authority, and
serving as a liaison to outside accountants. Collaborates with
Managers to assess financial performance, track expenses and
inventory, and provide general financial guidance.

Degree. CPA preferred but not required.
- Minimum 7 years
of previous work experience in accounting, preferably some of which
has been spent in a ophthalmology/medical/health/nonprofit
numeracy skills that can be applied to the review of
financial/quantitative work products to assure internal consistency
and minimal errors.
- Familiarity with
accounting for multiple companies preferred.
- Strong computer
skills with experience in using accounting software.
