Its Membership roster since its inception and today reflects some of our nation's most notable philanthropists and industrialists who are also members of many of the country's other top clubs.Not just a club but an island community, the Jupiter Island Club is on the north end of Jupiter Island in Martin County, Florida, about 30 miles north of Palm Beach.The successful candidate will receive a $500 sign-on bonus that is payable on the first day of employment. This position offers an end-of-season bonus, paid holidays, holiday bonus, medical (for those who qualify)Job Title: Club Services RepresentativeDepartment: AccommodationsReports To: Assistant Director of OperationsFLSA Status: Non- ExemptDate: 2021SUMMARY:The Club Services Representative greets and registers Members, Member families, and their guests; provides prompt and courteous service; and closes out Member accounts upon completion of stay. Assists Members and guests efficiently and courteously in all functions, while projecting high standards of service and exuding professional hospitality at all times. Responds to a wide variety of requests by accurately assessing the Member needs and requests then adding personal recommendations and touches to achieve maximum Member satisfaction, while complying with all Club policies.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITESand other duties as may be assigned relatedto thisposition.Responsible for processing Member/Guest arrival and departure experience.Answers and transfers internal and external calls.Provides accurate and timely answers to all Member and Guest inquiries.Accepts hotel reservations.Responds to telephone and in-person inquiries regarding reservations, club & event information, and Member concerns in a timely fashion.Builds strong relationships and coordinates with all other department's such as housekeeping, reservations, food & beverage, facilities, etc.Ensures safety by following guest check-in and security procedures and reporting suspicious activity and/or hazards to management.Completes all checklist items for the appropriate shift.Review arrivals and understand any special requests/needs.Utilizes a variety of computer systems.Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.Ensure the desk is properly stocked and maintains a clean work environment.Manages a cash bank and completes necessary, related reports.DemonstratesdiscretionwhenhandlingconfidentialMemberandguestmatters.Assists Members with shipping & receiving.Flexibility to assist with a variety of event related tasks, as needed.Assists Members with lost & found.Processes general administration, clerical, and billing tasks daily.Uses Member and guest names on a consistent basis to provide a friendlyatmosphereto Members, guestsandtheirfamilies.Maintain complete knowledge of:all Club offerings, services and hours of operationall Club restaurant food concepts, menu, dress codeall Club day/nightlife concepts, menu, dress codeall Club accommodations types/names, layout, amenities and locationsall Club accommodations rates, special packages and promotionsdaily arrival & departure lists, special requests, Member profilesscheduled daily group and/or event activities, names and location of meeting/banquet roomslocal events, attractions, holiday schedulesPerforms various administrative tasks assigned by Management.OCCUPATIONALHEALTHANDSAFETY:The Club is committed to fulfilling its obligations under the Occupational Health and SafetyAct and associated health and safety Regulations and Codes of Practice.
