A warm and loving family in Palm Beach, Florida is seeking a full-time nanny to join their team the first week in September. The schedule will be Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm or 6pm with the flexibility to occasionally stay later if they have an engagement. The family has two children, ages 7-years-old and 4-months-old. The older child is in school until either 3:15 or 4:15 every weekday, so primary care will be for the baby. Both parents work outside of the home but mom has some flexibility with her schedule to help with school pickup, as her office is very close by. -Responsibilities will include all care for the baby; keeping him on his established nap and feeding schedule, engaging him in developmentally appropriate play, encouraging his progress toward milestones, and taking him out for walks and classes (when the time comes). They hope to find a nanny who will speak to the baby throughout the day and expose him to fun learning opportunities. Duties will also include some care for their older child in the afternoons in coordination with mom. He gets picked up daily from the school bus stop either at 3:15 or 4:15pm (one mile from home), attends after school sports activities a few days a week, and has an occasional play-date -in the house after school. - It will be up to the nanny to coordinate and manage the busy couple of hours after school. The baby naps a few times per day and eats consistently on a predictable schedule. -The ideal candidate has strong infant experience and is proactive with a pitch-in attitude. The family is looking for a long-term fit and they strive to foster a thoughtful and fair work environment in their home. A driver's license with a clean record, a COVID vaccine, and comfort with a dog are all must-haves. The family is open to having someone live-in with them if it's the right fit.
