OVERVIEW
FORVIS is currently seeking an intern to join the cost segregation team. Cost Segregation is an analysis that generates tax savings by identifying assets embedded in a building's construction or acquisition costs which can be written off over shorter periods for tax purposes.
On-the-job training in the construction process, cost segregation, and tax law will be provided. This is a paid internship and can be part-time or full-time based on your availability.
RESPONSIBILITIES
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE:
Assist FORVIS Cost Segregation Associates as they perform engineering analysis of building assets from blueprints and site inspection

Estimate construction costs using costing manuals

Delivering FORVIS' commitment to unmatched client experience through timely and responsive communication with internal and external clients.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Open to juniors, seniors and graduate students working toward degrees in a wide range of fields from general studies to construction engineering and management technology

Interest in developing a skillset around reading blueprints, performing construction estimates and developing working knowledge of construction techniques and building materials in multiple industries
