Job Description:
Schmidt Nichols, an award winning Landscape Architecture and
Land Planning Firm, is looking for a Landscape Architect / Project
Manager in West Palm Beach. Our firm provides a broad scope of
design and consulting services. Implementation of designs for the
private and public sectors including institutional, public,
commercial, transportation, equestrian, parks and recreation,
resorts and residential developments can be found throughout South
Florida.Responsibilities* Preparation of site and planting plans*
Site planning* General project research* Project Coordination*
Local regulatory permitting* Preparation of technical
specifications and bid documentsQualifications* Bachelor's Degree
in Landscape Architecture* 2-5 years of professional experience
planning and processing site plans through government entities*
Proficient with AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign and
Microsoft Office.* Project management and design experience along
with strong organization and communication skills.* Must have
ability to travel to project sites as requested.* Demonstrates
self-motivation and the ability to work independently as well as
within a team structure.* South Florida plant knowledge
